Dr. Laura E. Lee

is a native of Fort Walton Beach, Florida and joined the Griffin Pediatric family in 1997. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in English. Dr. Lee earned her medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1994 and completed her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1997. Her interests include travel, golf, hiking and reading. She and her husband, Jim live in Griffin.


Dr. Eric V. McBryde 

grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, his medical degree from the University of South Florida and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Florida Shands Hospital. Dr. McBryde joined Griffin Pediatrics in 2001. He and his wife, Tiffany have four children, Lauren, Andrew, Gabriel and Hannah. He enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, mountain biking, serving in his church and Florida Gator football


Dr. Kyendria K. Garth 

attended the Medical College of Georgia and graduated in 1999. She completed her three year pediatric residency at The Children's Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, serving as pediatric chief resident in her final year. She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and also a proud alumna of Spelman College. Dr. Garth joined our practice in 2003. Her hobbies include traveling, gardening and spending time with her family and husband, Jackson.

 


Dr. Maxey M. Hébert

joined Griffin Pediatrics in 2015. She is a graduate of The College of William and Mary, earning her B.S. in Biology in 2003. In addition, she received her Master of Science in Public Health from Tulane University with a focus in parasitology. Dr. Hébert earned her medical degree from Ross University with High Honors in 2010 and completed her pediatric residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She and her husband are the busy and proud parents of two boys, Reise and Rory. She enjoys time with her family, two dogs, running, decorating and arts and crafts


Retired Pediatricians

Dr. William S. Colvin

retired in 2012 after over 40 years with Griffin Pediatrics. He is from Clearwater, Florida and attended the University of Florida School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at Emory Hospital and Grady Hospital, serving as Pediatric Chief Resident during his last year of training. He served during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy for two years and joined Griffin Pediatrics in 1972. He and his wife, Benie raised four children in Griffin.


Dr. Kelley M. Cousin

retired in 2015 after 22 years with the practice.  She is from Ada, Ohio. Dr. Cousin attended medical school at Ohio State University and completed her pediatric residency at Egleston Children's Hospital and Grady Hospital. Dr. Cousin and her husband have 2 sons and are especially proud of their two grandchildren.
